These nifty cleaning sponges are made from 100% plant-based materials.  The scouring non-scratch surface is made from coconut husk fibers and the white sponge is natural cellulose from wood pulp.

Knowing that makes us feel extra fancy using them because that makes them 100% natural, biodegradable, green, compostable, eco-friendly, zero-waste, vegan, kid and pet-friendly, plastic free, mom-approved, pro-cleaner certified naturally anti-microbial, odor resistant, earth-friendly, sustainable - YOU NAME IT!! (even sugar-free and gluten-free!! haha - too much?!?!)

{Shoot, with all these buzzwords you should sleep like a teenager tonight you are making the world a better place!!}

Did you know you should be replacing your dish sponges on average about every two weeks? This 12-pack should last you for a good while then!!

If that is not enough AMAZINGNESS - your decision to buy Artisan Homemaker products is making a huge difference in the lives of other people. Just like you, we are very intentional about the quality of the products we consider Artisan Homemaker approved and bring into our homes. In addition, we are very purposeful in considering the makers we partner with and who we source our products from.

We even flew to China to meet with the manufacturers of these sponges to make sure not only are these quality products but also the working conditions and environments and people connected to making them for us are who they say they are and good human beings.  We are so grateful we got to meet them in person!!!

One last thing, after about 2-3 weeks of heavy use, simply lay this sponge to rest in your garden or compost pile, or if you must toss them you can still feel giddy over the fact these sponges will take less than 40 days and not 40+ or 400 years (like the other kind) to bio-degrade to dirt.
